I will quickly provide and overview about these decorative items so you can get up and going with using them around your home.

Other than that they are widely used to create some sense of space in a smaller room. In addition to that, they are also used to add more light into a “not so well lit” room.
There are a number of options to choose your decorative mirror from. For instance, you can choose a oversized, Venetian, handcrafted, wall, metal, antique, wrought and cheap full length mirror to list just a few.
So if you have a small room and you can afford to buy some mirrors use them to cover the walls. A draw back to this is their vulnerability to being broken or dirtied by the kids and even some visitors. To combat this problem simply use a mirrored tile, which often comes with a design overlay.
Another alternative is to use oil rubbed bronze framed oval bathroom mirrors on a mantle or add some mirror tile highlight on the wall – here and there.
